MADISON PALM

Madison Palm is currently a Sophomore at Pace University, studying business management and fashion marketing. She grew up in New Jersey where she began dancing at two years old and competing at five years old. At her studio she focused on a wide variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Hip Hop, etc. Her studio, Dancin’ In the Spotlight, located in Rahway, NJ gave her the opportunity to work with professionals such as The Rockettes, Lane Napper (Nickelodeon), and Keri LaGrand (Assistant choreographer for Madonna, J-lo, etc). She decided to attend The Union County Academy for Performing Arts for High School, introducing a new focus on Modern and Ballet techniques (Graham and Horton). Her studies provided a deeper appreciation for the arts in which she was able to get the opportunity to perform longer works such as “Acts of Light” from the Graham company. Thanks to her school, she has been able to work with professionals such as Alexandra Gonzalez (Ballet Hispanico), Heather Harrington (Graham Company), and Carolyn Dorfman (Carolyn Dorfman Dance Company). With her passion for dance, she hopes to one day be able to help others discover all that dance can provide.
